What are the different types of Bras??

When bras were first created (Once again, God bless you Caresse!) to help women avoid problems, such as Backache and saggyness... well, that was exactly what they did! Over the years, designers and manufactures worldwide (my guess is the majority of them are men!) have added to the value of bras by offering women more variety, to fit their own UNIQUE needs!.... To name a few :
Training bra: This type of bra is designed for preteen or teenage girls who are in the early stages of breast development. It is smaller than standard bra sizes, and its cups come without underwire support. This helps young girls to become used to the idea of wearing a bra.
Full cup bra: This bra provides full support, as it comes with underwired cups and covers most of the breasts. It is recommended for all women, and especially for those with heavier breasts.(That would be me!)
Demi cup bra: A demi cup bra covers only half the breasts, with its cups coming up above the nipples. This bra is suitable to wear with clothes that have plunging necklines. It is supportive, yet provides maximum exposure of the breasts.
Padded bra: This bra comes with padding inside the cup linings, adding volume to smaller breasts. Padded bras are popular girls who may stuff their training bras with tissues to make their breasts look fuller.
Underwired bra: Bras can come with or without underwire in their cups. An underwired bra provides strong support to the breasts and also maintains the shape of the bra. Some women claim that underwired bras lift their breasts, while others find these bras uncomfortable or painful.
Strapless bra: These types of bras come with no straps or straps that can be removed, so you can give your poor shoulders a break. This style is useful for clothes, such as tube dresses and halter tops.
Could you identify your bra?? If not, believe me, there's so many more! To see the rest of the list, check out : www.wisegeek.com, and try a diiferent style

The History of Bras!

It wasn't Marks & Spencer, neither was it Victoria's Secret. Back in 1913, a woman named Caresse Crosby came up with the precursor of the two cup bra, glad it wasn't a three cup, eh? She sold the patent for her concept- two handkerchiefs sewn together with attached ribbon straps, and it was in that same year, the beginning of the 11.3 billion lingerie business was born! Can't imagine what kind of hold that would have for me Caresse!!
since then, Bras have definitely evolved (Thank God!). Did you know, Bras are manufactured by men!?, no neither did I.
